It's also time for our third annual silent auction, featuring area theatre tickets, handmade items from pinswithfury, Alina Desiree Allread, and A. Emily Heaney, and packages from Hill House and Steady Tattoo! Early-comers will also be treated to our opening-night presentation by board member and dramaturg, Kit Gordon; Of Shakespeare and Shrewishness, in Submission and Setting. After the show, help us celebrate the naughty nuptials with our Whipping, Ripping Wedding Reception. Yes, there will be bouquet tossing. Yes, there will be garter-slinging. Yes, there will be specialty cupcakes from our goddess at The Cupcake Conundrum. And stock up on your George Washingtons, because the bride and groom characters will be ready to rock out with you for dollar dances. For all you lovely ladies out there with bridesmaid dresses in your closet (and men with your cummerbunds): WE INVITE YOU TO WEAR THEM! Don't let those beautiful/hideous monsters linger in your closetbreak them out and show them off.
