THEATRE PRO RATA REHEARSALS

Rehearsals will be conducted indoors, artists will be fully vaccinated and boosted, and masks will be worn if Hennepin County has High transmission rates based on the CDC Data Tracker.  N95 or KN95 masks recommended; valve masks, bandanas, and ‘gaiters’ will not be allowed. If artists do not have an appropriate mask one will be provided. Masks must be worn over nose and mouth and properly fitted (without gaps). As per CDC recommendations: Artists will stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines and get tested if they have symptoms. They will wear a mask if they have symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19 (for five days after the exposure). Artists may choose to wear a mask at any time as an additional precaution to protect themselves and others. If they are at high risk for severe illness, they should consider wearing a mask indoors in public and take additional precautions.

Live feed or recording of rehearsal will be used as needed to allow designers and any absent actors to view rehearsal remotely.

Artists will be asked to isolate if they have symptoms (including: fever, cough, shortness of breath, and loss of smell or taste) until they have received a negative test result.

Artists will disclose if they have come in close contact (less than 6 feet for more than :15 min) with someone who has contracted COVID-19 and then participate in rehearsal remotely until they receive a negative test result. They will wear a mask for five days after the exposure regardless of test result.

If an artist tests positive: The artist will isolate for five days. Then once they are asymptomatic and fever free for 24 hours: they may return to rehearsal and wear a mask for another five days. Additionally: Rehearsals will be conducted remotely for all other participants until they test negative.

Depending on when in the production timeline this may occur could impact the decision to postpone the production or cancel performances.

The Stage Manager will be deputized to ensure that all protocols are being followed by all artists at all times.

*********

If it becomes clear that a performance will not be able to happen, we will postpone the production into the next season. We will communicate regularly about this possibility and the final decision will be made before rehearsals are scheduled to begin. Artists will be compensated a single stipend on closing night, regardless of when the production opens. Artists will be given right of first refusal for postponed production dates.

We are excited to continue, but prepared to postpone.
